When the dealership does maintenance on your car, they reset the car's internal service interval clock. Basically, you'll get a message on the LCD readout in the gauge cluster that says "Time for Regular Service" to let you know when your 10k/annual maintenance is due.

This DIY Guide is for “2nd Century” cars, like the 2017+ DB11, 2018+ Vantage, and 2019+ DBS Superleggera. If you have an earlier car, check my DIY Guide for “Gaydon era” cars.

Before you begin

The service requirement message is a notice that the car needs to be serviced. As such, make sure any and all required services have been completed before resetting the notification.

If the service reminder is being displayed when you begin this process, press the “OK” button on the steering wheel to clear it.

Step 1

Select Menu Home on the steering wheel switch pad.

Select Trip on the instrument cluster to display the Odometer.

Press the Call and OK buttons at the same time and hold them for at least three seconds to open the Workshop menu.

Step 2

Select Service Reminder on the instrument cluster.

Follow the on-screen instructions shown on the instrument cluster.

Step 3

Set the ignition to Position 2.

Press the OK button to confirm the display messages.

Select Full Service and then Confirm Service on the instrument cluster.

Step 4

Cycle the ignition to close the Workshop Menu.

Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the notification reset has been completed successfully.
